The platform cable replacement should take place if you encounter problems connected with the build tray, the chamber thermistor, or the extruder. The problems with all of these components can be connected to the platform cable failure. If the display shows one of the following error messages: #112, #133, #137, or #139, at first you should check the respective part for proper connection. If each of the mentioned parts is properly connected, replace the platform cable. Follow the steps from this manual.

Opening the Front Door

Open the front door.

Moving up the Platform

From the menu choose “Maintenance” and then “Move the platform.” Move up the platform using the upper button.

DO NOT MOVE THE PLATFORM TOO HIGH. THE NOZZLES CANNOT HIT THE BUILD TRAY.

Unplugging the Power Cable

Turn off the printer and unplug the power cable.

Unplug the platform cable from the platform.

Unplug the platform cable from the bottom plate and remove the cable from the printer.

Prepare a new platform cable and plug it into the platform.

Plug in the other connector of the platform cable to the bottom plate.
