Welcome to the last step of our post-processing journey. Today we’ll glue and screw the parts of the headphones together to enjoy the final outcome: a ready model.

Be sure to check out the previous episode where we showed how to paint the model: Episode 05.

The .stl files are available for download here: headphones and a headphone stand.

Necessary Tools

You’ll need some glue (a typical cyanoacrylate adhesive), a piece of material to cover the inner part of the headband, 8mm screws and a screwdriver.

2

Gluing the Earpads

First, glue the elements of the earpads together, using the glue. Wait until you’re sure they stick together well.

3

Gluing the Material

Then, using the same kind of glue, stick the cover material to the headband. Press firmly. Remove excess material with a scalpel.

4

Joining the Headband

Glue both parts of the headband together. Make sure they line up well.

5

Attaching the Earpads

Use a screwdriver to install the screws that connect the headband to the earpads.

6

Completed Model

This is it! You can now enjoy the final result.

This is not the end of the series, though. EPISODE 01 FROM THE TIPS AND TRICKS SERIES CAN BE FOUND HERE: MAKING Z-GLASS TRANSPARENT
