PEI Plate Replacement

Signs indicating replacement:
– visible signs of wear,
– significant deformation.

Required tools:
– New PEI plate.

Initial steps:
– Turn the printer off and unplug the power cable,
– Wait until the printer cools down,
– Open the front door.

Plate removal

Loosen the four screws that secure the PEI plate, and turn the corner locks by 90°. Next, remove the plate.

Plate Installation

Place the new plate on the heatbed. Turn the corner locks by 90°, and tighten the four screws.

Platform Calibration

Calibrate the platform. Open the Tools menu and select Platform, and Autocalibration. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.

Closing the Front Door

Close the front door.
