The PTFE covers in the Inventure prevent the hotend and nozzle from coming in contact with the melted material and sticking to them. The covers eliminate the risk of having fragments of burnt material accumulated on the surface of the model. Therefore, the hotend and nozzle covers need to be replaced if they become dirty and worn in any way or they do not stay in place and fall off during the printing process.
